Whats your point again?? Prerequisit for what?? If you don't want amnesty then your question makes no sense. If you are and anti this is what your qestion sounds like to me..."Shouldn't speaking english be a prerequisit for all illegal aliens, that are going to be deported anyway?" what would be the point in that. . . .your question clearly states that you want them to stay, but only if they know english

I don't think we shold allow illegal aliens in this country. But to be here as a citizen and to live, yes, people should either know how to speak/understand english or be in the process of learning.

I think I know what you mean but unless a national language is enacted it is the language of the majority that will be the language spoken. Before the constitution was written German was the second most spoken language in this country.

Yes, I think a 25 word dictionary minimum... Giving them the ability to communicate atleast as good as the uninteligable mush mouths we have here allready.

I don't think there are any pre-requisites for being an illegal alien. If you mean it should be a pre-requisite for being a legal immigrant, that's worth discussing.

One certainly would think so. I mean if you really wanted to blend in with all the legal people you would want to know the language at least. But, they really do not want to blend in.
