What happened to you? I've read the books from Dr. Moody and I found this to be so interesting! I would love to hear serious answers and true stories! Thanks.

Yup. Last fall I spent 3 weeks in the hospital with an unknown virus (unknown even to the CDC). I physically could not swallow anything. I had x-rays, an ultrasound, CT scan, EKG, and I was scoped. None helped solve the mystery. All they could do was keep me hydrated and control the pain. I lost 1/5 of my body weight and was told that if I wouldn't have been young and in excellent physical condition, I would not have made it. The only thing that helped at all was the IV fluids, without them I would have died of dehydration.
I was already questioning my "beliefs" at the time, and it gave me plenty of time to solidify to myself that there is no god. I am now an atheist.

Closest I had was nearly having a car accident. A benz and another car wrecked on the freeway in front of me and the benz hit the divider then started spinning backwards across the lanes towards me. Its like everything slowed down as I watched it happening in front of me and I veered to the right just as it came at me (kinda matrix like, how stuff slows down and speeds up).... but I thank God, no no near death stuff.

I was stuck in an elevator once with a girl who ate broccoli the night before so......

You figure it out

Seriously though.....I love hearing stories of near-death. So awesome to hear the testimonies of people who had a small glimpse of the other side.

I broke the femur in my right leg in a motorcycle/ straight truck accident and had bone chips floating around in my blood stream, they got lodged in my lungs and filled them up with fluid, I was dead for, I dunno, less than half an hour, but I was dead. No bright lights, no big city, no angles, no demon fire. Just a big black nothing. Sorry, dead is dead, baby.
Or you can believe the fairy tales from the quack factory, whichever makes you happy.

Once, I chocked on a nacho, and after spitting it out, it said "You were spared today. You are welcome. Love Jesus" on it.
And then I woke up in a puddle of vomit.
