No. My kids try to, though. I've only blamed the teachers when they artificially inflate my children's grades in order to make themselves look good. When my child is doing D work and the teacher gives her a B, there is certainly a big amount of blame that needs to be laid at the teacher's doorstep.

I'm sure you are now going to make some roundabout pro-illegal alien statement, but for the life of me, it's eludes me this time. Just remember to streeeeetch before you reach.

Yes I do in many cases. My son went to a private Jr. High school for 3 years and got all A's and B's. Do to financial dificulties, we enrolled him into the L.A. county school district for the 10th grade.
I didn't hear a word from any of his teachers and I assumed things were ok.Then his report card came home with nothing but D's and F's on it.I called his teacher to ask why he was doing so badly when he had been getting good grades at the private school. All they would tell me was that he was a nice boy who slepted all day long. It was obvious that he was just bored to death! We just let him get a GED,which he didn't even have to study to pass. What a joke the school system is,he is now 31 years old so I can only imagine how bad things are now.Why do they still tax people for service like that?We pulled him out of school so he wouldn't have to deal with the stupidity of it all.

All kids will deter blame to anyone but themselves, teachers included...lol...I still use that tactic today...lol. I do however think it's pretty pathetic however that parents come rallying to their kids aide for everything. I totally understand standing up for you child, however today a kid is clearly wrong and the parents still come to the kids aid. In my town recently two kids brought bb guns on the bus. Not only did they bring them on the bus they were shooting them on the bus, and not those gay little rubber bb ones, real co2 bb guns. ANyhow now the parents are trying to get the suspensions overturned, etc, big article in the paper. The parents should just be happy the kids weren't arrested as they should have been. Also, I'm surprised it's only a suspension and not an expulsion forever.

here let me clear this up for those that do not understand, because this is clearly an IMMIGRATION ISSUE.

This person is Mad because they came to America illegally, and tried to get a free education and it clearly did not take effect.

Yes I blame the Teachers, they should go to the School board and say look what your giving Me to work with, you cant just shovel in Kids and say they are this old and should be in this grade, you have to start at the beginning....

She Jane run, run Jane run.

Your analogy could be taken 2 ways.
One blaming illegals for our state of affairs in the U S.

Two blaming ourselves for allowing our government to screw us over while we slept thru class.

I take personal responsibility and choose 2. I did sleep thru class and let the government run amok. Now I'm trying to clamp down on this spoiled child and it's taking a while but I will succeed in taming this beast.

I'm laughing only because some should read through others answers to catch on. In this case I happen to agree with Dog Tricks on this one. As I did the same thing. Slept through the class courses. Even flew through the speed courses. Missed what was really going on around me.

I hate when that happens. Making it up for it now tho. Refresher courses are so important too.
