I love my Rival. It's the largest one, removable insert, and programmable. There's 2 settings for high, 2 for low, and a warm button. It's gotten so much use that it doesn't even look new anymore! My only complaint is that the handle broke off the lid.

Rival. Only problem is had a cover with a hinge which I thought was great. You could lift it open and leave the cover attached. That part broke. It was fairly new so Rival sent me an upgraded one since that model wasn't available any longer.

My roommate has a Rival, oval, he loves it but doesn't cook a whole lot. I have an old, old school Cuisinart that is a lovely yellow with a brown pot! Love it though, it works wonderful. Not too hot but then again I'm not all that versed in crock pots. I just follow directions and go.
