huh? the trinity is only false in the fact that God, Christ and the Holy Ghost are not the same being. anybody with half a brain should be able to understand this if they truly read the bible. and as far as the other part of your question...we are God's children. He wants to give us everything he has. we are made in His image, just like it mentions how Adam's children are made in his image as well a few chapters later in genesis. any loving successful father wants his kids to grow up and be as he is and have everything he has. God will always be our God. that will never change. of course it helps that we have direct revelation. why most people think God doesn't want to talk to us directly through a prophet as he did before is beyond me.

I will hold my head up with honor and say that we do believe in Polythiesm.

We believein the Infinity of Space which allows all of Gods children who become Gods to have room. Space has no end.

I think the correct term is infinitinity.

Disclaimer:
We believe in more than one God, but we only worship one. Does that make us polytheistic, or monotheistic, or some sort of combination?

Edit: That is a fun word to say. infinitinity, infinitinity, infinitinity
*starts repeating it musically to self*

Actually, you have a good point I've never considered before.

If they believe that men can become gods, doesn't that make them polytheists?

Only in a limited way.

yes Mormons believe that there are many gods.

That's why Mormonism is considered polytheistic. They believe they can work their way to godhood and believe God was once a mortal man like they are.

And no, hell is no joke. Ask Satan. He was cast from heaven because he wanted to be a god. The same will happen to Mormons who die unrepentant about that.

God said, "There are no other gods beside me."
