It really doesn't seem like being the better designer matters much for the purposes of the show. They also have to take into consideration which contestant has the "presence" and personality to host their own show. But, when you consider Kim's application of design principles and being able to create designs for the largest possible market, she did a much better job than her competitor, Mr. Skateboarding Shirt off fifth gear full throttle did.

In my opinion, NO. The episode where she complained the entire time - that alone should have disqualified her. I do tend to like her designs better, but her attitude sucks.

THEY WERE BOTH GREAT, BUT YES I THINK KIM EARNED HER TITLE!! SHE WAS MUCH MORE VERSATILE!!! JUST MY OPINION. LOVE THE SHOW!!!!
