The question should be re-phrased--it is NOT HAVING a good Karma.--it should be DOING a Good Karma. One can donate money or useful materials to an honest orphanage--One can teach in spare time some poor children who can not offered to have a paid tutor-that kind of Samaritan "action"s(Karma).Good Action(Karma) is above Religion--what Good one does in this birth is paid back in this life itself("Samkara" for those who do not beleive in "re-birth" as per their religious dictum---for those who beleive in re-birth Samkara and Mayaskara)
