FREE PHOTO RECOVERY
As its name suggests, this is a specialised tool for recovering deleted JPEG image files from memory cards or from flash drives. That doesn’t mean it’s complicated though, in fact it’s really easy to use. Run the program and it will automatically detect any cards that are attached to the system. Select the one you want to recover from and click Search, the program will then take a few minutes to scan the card and show you a preview of the images it finds. You then have the option to see the images at a larger size before attempting to recover them. It can recover images from cards that have been formatted as well as getting back deleted files. The program is free for non-commercial use and can be downloaded from:

Similar to a hard disk in the computer, deleting a file on the memory card only deletes the "pointer" reference to the file, not the 0s & 1s making up the file. Try mounting the memory card on your computer and using a file recovery program to search for data. I don't know if the post above that mentioned the photo recovery software is good or not but I'll throw in the "Recover My Files" software as another to try. I've used it on hard drives and tried it on my camera's memory card too. It did find some of the pictures on the card but not the one I really had wanted (I had already reused the card several times). The file, in my case, was one that a co-worker didn't like and had deleted.
As with hard drives, the ability to recover data from the media depends on keeping the media unchanged until you perform the recovery. If you continue to use the card, you have a good chance of overwriting the data.
Good luck.

If you deleted them and then took pictures than yes they are gone for good. There may be a way to get them back. You will have to search the net for a memory card program that will do that kinda thing.

Yes, there is no recycle bin on memory cards hence no way of retrieving all the pics back.

There might be an off chance that they are in the trash can on the computer that deleted them, but other than that, there is no way to retrieve them.
