I think the only difference nowadays is that the Christians have grown out of killing everyone who disagrees with them. They just have more sophisticated tactics now.

Christian conservatives used the Jihadis to fight the Communists and we are sure they established enough pawns to use in their current goals.

Both groups seem to have identical goals and social issues.

Judging from the reactions to "p*ss Christ" and the danish cartoons about muhammad (complaining vs. rioting) I'd say there are substantial differences between the two.

Only one that comes to mind. Christians generally think god will send people to hell for what they think are sins, muslims often do the sending themselves without divine intervention.
