MHz and GHz are like Megabytes and Gigabytes. Mega=Million Giga=Billion. 1 MHz is 1 million Hertz, 1 GHz is 1 Billion Hertz. The higher the speed of the Hertz, the better (usually), like space on your hard drive, the higher the space, the better.
