Would this be a good lunch for someone trying to lose 5- 10 lbs? I'm exercising 3- 4 times a week.

It's a great lunch. But what else are you eating? This will certainly help but you need to be sure that the rest of day balances out to your 1200 calorie a day eating plan. No sense in eating well for just one meal then gobble an entire pizza for dinner right?..lol To see some dramatic results try upping the exercise to 6 to 7 times a week and I mean sweat! You'll drop about 2 to 3 pounds a week of healthy weight loss and be good to go in 4 to 6 weeks! Good luck

Is it low fat cottage cheese? It sounds like a very good lunch. Keep up the good work!! You still need to exercise portion control- only one serving of cottage cheese and tuna (make sure it is not the oil-packed variety).

It sure is. You might try some seasoning to give it some kick and improved taste. Try cottage cheese with fresh fruit also, and don't have tuna every day. It does contain mercury. Canned breast of chicken can also make a tasty low fat chicken salad. Good luck !!!

It is low carb for sure, but it is low fat only if you use low-fat (or, better, fat free) cottage cheese, and leave the mayo off the tuna.

And of course, there is always the question of quantity. But if you have reasonable portions, this is very high protein, very low carbs, and, as I said, it can be low fat as well.

Good luck!!

Yes it is. Low fat and full of protein. Will your lunch be accompanied by a large glass of water? Remember while exercising and dieting stay hydrated.

You are thinking about it way too much. Fad diets do not work. Unless you stick to this diet for the rest of your life, you will eventually put on all you have lost. Remember, the more you think about food and counting calories etc the more you will WANT it. Exercise is the key to weight loss and being healthy. Try to busy yourself more. Eat healthy where you can but don't go mad, it only makes things worse it you go to extremes.

Yogurt, elementary, isn't a extreme sugar substance. this is fairly very low in sugar and carbs. i'm uncertain the place you acquire that concept. gazing the cup i'm ingesting now, it has 7g of sugar and a similar for carbs. it would be decrease, yet I had to get the low fat style (the food market advance into out of comprehensive fat). Flavored yogurt is extreme in sugar, yet this is barely because of the fact they upload a ton of sugar to it. yet elementary is fantastic. be sure you get the comprehensive fat version too. this is extremely significant once you're low carb weight-reduction plan. you elect the fat to take care of your self, and occasional/non-fat products purely incorporate further sugar to seize up on style. eat elementary yogurt. in case you elect it candy, you may chop somewhat fruit and upload it your self. yet do notice this would upload sugar. yet this is fantastic. somewhat is fantastic. yet preflavored has way too plenty. fairly, i've got stumbled on the ultimate use for elementary yogurt is to apply it as a dip for greens. such as you will with ranch dressing. this is fairly solid that way.
