It is hard to believe that for 22% of the people asparagus really does cause stinky urine. No, you are not sick. It is just a normal body process as the asparagus interacts with other chemicals in your body.

I've always heard it was an asparagus gene. Some people have it, some don't. Same thing with cilantro.

it's from the vitamins consumed from the asparagus. this happens with any vitamin enriched veggie or fruit. the same goes with taking a muli-vitamin or single vitamin pill. don't worry, it's all good for you!
