Because I heard that mixing with sugary drinks will make you even sicker eventually.

This is a tough one because most of your hangover will come from really sugary drinks and this is the best way to mask grain. But you can minimize your hangover by 1) buying the product chaser and using as directed 2) drinking ice water while you are boozing ( you will go to the bathroom a lot more) 3) drinking a gatorade before you go to bed and when you wake up ( because of the electrolytes) or 4) which I do most of the time is to have a bottle of water and some advil on my night stand and set my alarm for about an hour before I actually need to wake up and drink down the whole bottle and take the advil go back to bed and by the time I wake up I usually feel normal. If you still feel poorly drink also grad a gatorade and sip on.

As for recipes jello shots are a great idea, when making, substitute half the cold water you add with grain alcohol or all if you are using vodka.
Also a good idea for parties is Jungle juice. Get a big sports drink dispenser ( most mcdonald's will give you one with a 50 deposit that you get back when you return it, and most will give you their orange drink mix with it also) The orange drink can be used or all types of kool aids. Get the cannisters of kool aid and follow the directions. Your usually going to want to add more mix if you really want to hide the taste. a fifth of everclear is fine but you can add more. Play with the mix till you have the taste you want. Then cut up fresh fruit, apples work best but other non mushy fruits are fine also and toss them in the mix. The best part about this is eating the fruit when the juice is gone. A couple of warnings though, this stuff can taste so good that people can drink way to much and get drunk fast, and try to stay away from kool aid colors that will stain if spilled. They have a line of kool aid that mixes clear, this is your best bet.
Good Luck and be careful because it can be a potent (but fun) elixir

Grain alcohol generally doesn't have much of a flavor when it mixes. This is reason it's often deadly and illegal. People can drink mass quanitities of it because it tastes like sugary sweetness when mixed with something. Sometimes they die. The high alcohol is the thing that's going to make you sick. No magical concoction is going to change that. Sugary drinks aren't going to make you more or less sick. Masking the flavor of the grain alcohol with a sugar drink might cause you to drink more than you should and get sick. Be careful. Grain alcohol is not something to f*** around with.

Bloody Mary is good and not sweet, but it may be an aquired taste. Vodka with tonice or soda water and lime is also good. If you make sure you drink plenty of water when you're drinking, you won't get a hangover, though. You get a hangover because you are dehydrated. Once you start to get a buzz, drink a glass of water before you have another drink. Then alternate- if you havea drink, follow it up with a glass of water. Also, be sure to drink on a full stomach.

Yes the sugary drinks mixed with alcohol will gum up your liver, and kidneys. The worst hangover i ever had was sprite, and gin. I never drank sprite again, nor gin. I pulled hair, and knocked out teeth the night of that drinking spree.. Many years ago. If I drink now I drink Patron with salt around the glass, and a lime. Then I drink two glasses of water after two shots. straight. Always drink straight and make it good alcohol, not cheap. But remember my friend Water, Water, and more water. Oh let me clear that up it was someone Else's teeth, and hair that got taken out. LOL>

How To Make Grain Alcohol

I don't know, but this guy my husband works with always makes his grain alcohol into jello shots and serves them with whipped cream. They are sooooo goood, but very strong so I wouldn't take too many of them.
If you don't know how to make jello shots I think you substitute the alcohol for the cold water in the jello recipe. For some reason this guy's jello shots come out thicker, like you can take a bite out of them. Maybe he uses the "jigglers" recipe.

Anyway, don't know if you were even interested in jello shots, but I'm telling you, they are so good!

Iced tea...Homemade...Try Tazo's Purple Passion Tea...Let the bags steep for 7minutes after you bring the water to a boil...then I would suggest sweeten it with Pineapple juice....It's usually made made sugar that gives you hangovers not natural sugar like 100% fruit juice...Good Luck
