It wouldn't take an alien. Simple proof would do the trick. However believing in and worshiping are two different things. Even if there were proof that the jealous, vengeful and violent God of the Old Testament existed, it does not mean that I would worship Him.

how would i know otherwise? if he took me to his ship then magically turned back into alien mode, i'd feel betrayed. but, i'm sure he'd erase all those memories then i'd return to earth yearning for the lost Galaxy.
