Call up the US Patent and Trademark Office and tell them you want to know how to register that trademark. Let me know how that goes for you.

Trademarks that are simply a single common word/name, are not generally defensible. McDonald's is about the only one who manages to protect such a trademark.

They are called 'idols'.
