It's not in the message of Abraham in the Old Covenant or in the message of Jesus in the New Covenant. It's not Biblical at all. Check out the first link below.

It is also the opposite of the Christian message. Jesus told plainly, "But he that endures to the end, is the one that will be saved." (Matt. 24:13) Not "once saved, always saved". Judas for instance, would not qualify. Only after remaining faithful all one's life, can this be true.

1 Cor.3:14-15 gives us an answer to this question, rather clearly: Speaking of "Works" Paul says: "If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames."
This Scripture teaches us that we can never lose our salvation, however, we can lose spiritual and earthly rewards, in this lifetime and the next, for the things we do today.
John 3:16 also tells us..."For God so loved the world that he gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
What is the meaning of "Whoever believes in Him will not perish?"...Jesus spoke these words and He spoke the truth.
John 8:24..." I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the One I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."
Here again, Jesus focuses on "Belief" not on "works"
John 3:36.."Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for Gods wrath remains on him."
Here again, Jesus equates "Belief" with eternal life, no conditions added or implied.
Finally, John 5:24..."I tell you the truth, whoever hears my Word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
There is much mis-understanding about salvation vs. works.
Scripturally speaking, salvation comes through faith...
Gal.3:6..."Consider Abraham: He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."
The "Works" we do come after we are saved through Jesus Christ, these works are His works that He causes us to do to further His kingdom. We take no credit for these works, rather, we give all Praise and Glory to God Almighty for producing His works through us. The works we do are a Spiritual Barometer of our fellowship with Christ Jesus, the more we submit to His Lordship in our lives, the more works will be evident. All the works we do, apart from the Holy Spirit, are as filthy rags before God. The works we do, being led by Gods Spirit, these are pleasing to Him. God Bless You....Peace.

What is the "Abrahamic message"? It might help us answer you if everyone knew what that was.

once saved---always saved---is the message of people who don't want to believe they have to ask Gods forgiveness for any sin they do.
