Betteirage, I had a Mormon friend who seemed to of prayed to Moroni in my presence before. She went, "Oh, Moroni, Oh Moroni.". Like I would say, "Oh Jesus, Jesus.". If I needed the Lord.

lauphing chick, Jesus said that the Father would have us pray to Him in Spirit & Truth. And as a born again Christian, we can pray to God, the Father and/or the Son 24/7 in Spirit & Truth. The Holy Spirit is the one who anoints us spiritually & also is the Spirit of Truth. So? Praying to God the Father or God the Son in the Spirit & honestly from ones heart. And as a Christian can pray 24/7 to God, even if one just needs a friend to talk to.

It sounds to me like LottaLou is just looking for information. I wouldn't go bashing her either.

Mormons pray daily to God the Father, although they usually address Him as "Heavenly Father." They end their prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.
I'm not sure what you mean by "spirit & truth." Mormons pray with the knowledge that God will answer their prayers. They are counseled to "pray always" and to seek knowledge and truth. They are also encouraged to seek guidance by the Spirit.
Mormons never pray to Moroni, or to any other prophet, saint, or leader. They only pray to God the Father in the name of Christ.

We pray on a regular basis to the only actual God Jehovah in the process the call of his Son, Jesus through fact Jesus is the mediator between us & Jehovah and no person gets via to Jehovah God until they bypass via his Son. Jehovah is our God and his unswerving obedient Son is our reigning King and Saviour. We renowned no human ruler as our chief or Saviour. human beings can not do what Jehovah's Kingdom will do for us. With Jesus put in as King of that Kingdom, billions would be resurrected from dying, there'll be peace earthwide and disease and our enemy dying would be not extra. guy-made governments would be replaced with Jehovah God's heavenly government. fake faith won't in any respect plague us lower back. Oppressive human rulers and fake faith have been the main reason for each and all of the wars and misery mankind has experienced. Why? through fact the two are under devil's administration and that could be the perfect blessing while devil, his demons and all who persist with them, are placed out of existence continuously. We anxiously watch for that factor. Psalm 37:9-11, Daniel 2:40 4, Micah 4:3-5 LOBT

Why would we pray to Moroni? He's not God. He was a prophet. We only pray to God!

We open our prayer "Dear Father in Heaven" some people use different words this is how I start though. Then we thank him for the blessings he has given us. Then we ask for the things that we need. Then we close "In the name of Jesus Christ Amen". We don't ever pray to Moroni.
