we need to stop judging ourselves too harshly and stop comparing ourselves to other people. keep an open mind about yourself.

If we must believe that a deity sees our potential before seeing it in ourselves, we will never live up to our potential in the space of this limited lifetime. We'll be too attached to 'being seen' as valuable to others and validated by others. It's a psychological conundrum. A problem of levels.

By having faith in one's ability to succeed. If we do not have faith in ourselves, how can we ever hope to live up to the potential that God sees in us?
