Greetings.
On Yahoo's Sites, Me Born Out of the East. At Least, me Assured of a 'badge' In the East - Just like "Marco Polo" ( In the Process of Watching Film). Of Course, little minds Have Tried To Discredit Him, But me Believes in "His Travels" and His Utter Fascination With The East. Do You Have The smallest idea How Oppressive "Genoa & Venice" Were In His Day ? Maybe, We Are Back in Those 'barbaric' Times of Social, Religious, AND 'medical' Abuses...
So Here For Singapora, Tortoise And All.
"Loyang Tua Pek Kong Temple held a Consecration Ceremony on Sunday To Sanctify Its Sri Maha Ganapthy Sanctum... Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean... Did The Honours at The Temple's Official opening... The Temple Is Known For The Inter-Faith Activities IT Organises...
Taoists, Buddhists, Hindus And Muslims..."
Well, Kindly As a Symbol, Include "Pan Priestesses" - At Least For A Theologian Bruno Whose Inquisition's Case went on For Years & Years before Being Burned Alive in Rome.
Grateful The Temple "Is The Only temple Which Operates 24 Hours a day".

Buddhism has many nice attributes. I'd say that my favorite is the fact that it is not an Abrahamic religion, and is therefore not inherently evil. Have a Happy Monday everyone!

buddhism is a very peaceful and loving religion.
there are some very nice christians out there. they can be very kind.
most of the atheists i've met or seen on this site are very funny. (i know that technically it's not a religion) i like sarcastic humor.
agnostics are very tolerant of other beliefs.
actually i've seen a lot of good people from all paths on here.
bright blessings. and happy monday!

Certainly - I am very happy for those for whom their chosen religion truly works. It gives them peace of mind, spiritual ease, and does seem to make them happier. Blessings on those who can use religion to actually help others without asking anything in return.
And happy Monday to all.

Happy Monday!
Can saying that "Pagans aren't following their own religion and therefore actually are pagans" be classified as nice?
Probably not, so let's try "Many religions have very inspirational stories about how humans can strive to be better."

I, too, admire Carlton Pearson's gospel of inclusion. Although I am still an atheist...at least this man has started preaching that christianity isn't the only way to heaven. In fact, he believes that ALL people go to heaven. The christian church has pretty much disowned him for this stance. He's stated that his most interesting letters come from atheists and believes they are going to heaven also. He does not believe a hell even exists.

The gift of God to this enlightened age is the knowledge of the oneness of mankind and of the fundamental oneness of religion

I embrace all religions and the Love within them. Today I am thinking about the Jewish religion. They are in the middle of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur - a time of atonement. I think that is a beautiful practice!
Your turn!
Namaste!

A pair of Mormon missionaries went down my street the other day and walked right past my house without stopping. That was really nice of them.
