If it doesn't look, smell or taste etc of ice cream?
Haven't a clue but it's sort of dairy so I'm guessing it's a bit like milk. I'm sure we had ice cream one time and it went all gooey and it tasted rank and it was off.
If you have any doubts though just chuck it out! I wouldn't want to chance it even for ice cream XD

If it is b4 the 'best b4 date'', and looks good, smells good and tastes good, eat it
other wise throw it out

I presume you mean if its been in the freezer for too long. It goes gritty and has ice crystals in it.
