Thanks for this question. After many decades of obeying laws, paying thousands for car insurance and medical insurance, and paying an outrageous amount of income tax, I'm starting to feel like a real sucker knowing that many millions are ignoring the laws and are not being pursued by our government. I once endured an IRS audit because I forgot to claim $6.00 in interest income. The IRS knows that there are millions of people working illegally with stolen social security numbers and they do nothing about it. They know millions are breaking our immigration laws and they turn a blind eye to it. They know our public schools and hospitals are being bankrupted by providing free services to people who aren't here legally and don't contribute to the tax base, and they allow it to continue unabated. Hit and run automobile accidents are at an all-time high, graffiti covers the walls in all of our major cities and gangs rule the neighborhoods. The good people have to live behind bars because criminals roam free. Yes, I'm getting tired of doing the "right thing." It's time for our government to do the right thing.

Actually, Yes. It upsets me that I have to continuously do the right thing or face the consequences, yet there are millions of people who do not do the right thing and there are no consequences for them to face. The government is too busy policing its own citizens and not enough time enforcing the laws where it needs to be enforced. I would love to know why the government is more concerned with what websites I visit and who I am calling, rather than cracking down on people breaking the law. They have their priorities messed up.

I will never tire of doing the right thing.I do get tired tho of a Government that uses me to line their pockets.I think "we" should have more say in where our tax dollars go.More than just electing Congressmen or Senators who are "suppose" to watch out for our interests.

I have to work about 3.5 hours everyday to pay for taxes (and I still owe more at the end of the year), medicare (which I don't use), and SocSec (which I may never get). Life is grand.

Yep. Time to ask why Homeland Security is policing our citizens instead of the borders. A terrorist could walk into our country, and yet the government is more concerned with the web sites that I visit.

Always continue to do the right thing, but question your leaders and see if they are doing the right thing.

I'm not tired of doing the 'right thing', but I am tired of professional politicians squandering my American heritage.
