The working poor, senior citizens, and students are all abused by allowing illegals to pee on the job market.

No, and that is exactly why good paying jobs are being filled with third world scabs. The rich don't want to pay decent wages so they get congress to hand them an alphabet soup of visas or they just hire illegals. Look at the lengths they will go to to bust up the teamsters and the longshoreman's unions. A Nafta superhighway!
For the economically challenged answerers - everybody else pays for cheap labor.

Not fair to us or them. But that's what BOTH governments want also let's throw in China and a few other Nations.I'm sure by now you know about the NAU well that's just a precedent for NWO or New World Order.Which makes ALL Nations tied in Trade Agreements that benefit corporations and the ruling governments of that continent. Not the people who break their backs making a living.

Ohhhh look how witty these people are....yeah, well, to answer you ignorant moment of frustration (most likely rooted from some other life stress), in a perfect world Dorthy that would help the economy.
See if people were honest, this cheap labor would be a GRRREAT thing. Proceeding is my reasoning OK, I'll simplify it. Cheap labor SHOULD = Lower prices.
IF big companies pay people less for productive labor, they SHOULD lower prices of goods. It would set off a chain effect in the economy. But unfortunately people should do lots of things, but rarely do then. So we can dream sweet dreams and point fingers all we want, but it won't help any (ie your question/comment). Good day.

Illegals aren't driving down wages. Employers who break the law by hiring illegals are keeping a low cap on wages!
Hey, did you know it is ILLEGAL to hire an illegal alien? But it is legal for the criminal illegal alien to send his hard robbed wages back to his own country. Kinda drives down our American dollar's value a teeny weeny little bit. Is this fair?

To me, in economic terms, fair is anything that two people agree to do with no threats of violence of coercion involved in the decision. Sometimes these agreements will have negative consequences for third parties, but the alternative to allowing this is to allow government to decide which arrangements are fair and which aren't. This has potential for destroying our basic freedoms.
We should also remember that these low wage employees are good for a lot of people in society. They keep business costs down, which is good for keeping business in the country, instead of sending it overseas. This can lead to gains in good jobs, sometimes. They keep prices down, which is good for all consumers. Until you really work through all the details, you can't really be sure who has benefitted and who has lost from low wage labor.
If you may remember, the Bush administration slapped a tariff on foreign steel a few years ago, to try to save jobs in steel mills in America. They were threatened with lawsuits over trade treaty violations for this. Eventually they dropped the tarriffs. The lawsuit threats were part of the issue, but one of the other major reasons they dropped the tariff was that economists convinced the administration that the higher prices of steel that were the result of the tariffs were causing more jobs to be lost in the auto industry than they were saving in the steel mills.

Illegal Alien Meat Packing Plant Raids Raise Wages
Immigration agents raided 6 Swift & Co. meat packing plants in 6 states and rounded up over a thousand people. The result? Large numbers of US citizens queued up in line to get the new job openings created by round-up of illegals.
GREELEY - The line of applicants hoping to fill jobs vacated by undocumented workers taken away by immigration agents at the Swift & Co. meat-processing plant earlier this week was out the door Thursday....
The departure of 400 illegal workers before the raid was enough to raise salaries by $1.95 per hour. Maybe the raid will force salaries up by another $1 per hour.
The United Food and Commercial Workers filed grievances over the company’s interviews, although after the workers left, the Marshalltown plant raised its starting wage from $9.55 to $11.50 in an attempt to fill the vacancies, said Jim Olesen, the union’s local president.

i'm a liberal, yet i do no longer help unlawful aliens. anybody who employs an unlawful alien must be imprisoned for ten years. unlawful aliens must be sent back to their very own usa no count number the fee or how long they have been in our usa.
