I like this saying by Gandhi "Be the change you want to see in the world", and it holds true for me, and for many people today. There will come a time when each one of us shows compassion to everyone we meet, or see, or think about.
However, that time is not yet come, as the world still rots at the core from the hatred, hypocrisy, intolerance, war, etc that has infected even this country, and especially its leadership. This will all be addressed in the close future, and at that time man kind will indeed be a "family" of man.

Today wouldn`t be enough we need to show and feel compassion for everyone every day. No matter if we can see them or not .
Darkness can never be driven away by more darkness
the only way to get rid of it is with light

Even if we started small, showing compassion to 3 people today which caused each of them to do the same, etc. - it would be a dramatically different world.
Namaste.

Jesus told us to judge the sin and not the sinner, without this practice compassion is rare, we all fail every day and without compassion how would we get up and move on?
If compassion was more widespread then it would be a better world for all.

OK, digi, I am up for the challenge! Everyone I meet or talk to today I will approach them with an attitude of compassion, even if I only offer them a smile. Thanks for the great idea!

It will not happen stop dreaming and do something yourself everyone is quick to do something small and say “that is all I need to do”. No it’s not helping people is a constant struggle and hard work. That is why you help out at the soup kitchen once a year verses starting a nonprofit to help many people all year you just want to feel better about yourself. Don’t give that homeless guy some change help him and as many people as possible and quit being weak.

I try to do that daily, in hopes that it will catch on. My hope is that before we know it EVERYBODY will be doing it. But there are sure a LOT of people on the face of this planet. Getting everybody on the same page isn't going to be an easy task. I've been working on it a long time, and it's sure nice to see that there are others who are, as well. Welcome to the Peace and Love club.

If that became the default rule, some jerks would take advantage of it, big time.
A million Kato Kalins would spawn.
if it was just for today though, it couldn't but help :)

My restaurant would be full of vegans.
If they did not show up then they would be showing me compassion.
I do not think a vegan is possible of this, but you never know.
Namaste to you too.
