does anyone else like me think this programe is a little bit one sided, ?

I think being one sided is the whole point of the show. The Eggheads are supposed to be difficult to beat, and to be honest any team with Kevin Ashman on it is likely to win almost every time. That guy has a brain like the Encyclopedia Britannica and a memory to match. I reckon the only time they get beaten is when he's having a bit of an off-day. Without him, the Eggheads would be beaten a lot more.

The eggheads do appear very cocky - I know that they are all intelligent, but so are most of the challengers.
Some of the questions seem to be a little bit one sided - I know that the challengers have the choice of going first or second, but it seems that when one question is difficult (and the challengers are wrong) that the eggheads receive an easy question.
Again, I know that questions are only easy or difficult according to whether you know the answer, but questions should be similar in difficulty. Alternative would be to ask the same questions to both team members and see who has the most right.

I suppose it is considering the amount of experience the Eggheads have had answering questions! Can't stand PJ or Daphne - both up there own a*ses!!! I always watch it though and just waiting for someone to win after all this time.

The smarminess of the Eggheads panel really gets up my nose! Can't stand any of them!

well I guess that's the point, more annoying is the fact that Daphne makes me want to abuse an elderly person, cos I just want to give her good slap, she's ssooooo sweet and sooo smug gaaargh. I agree with some of the others, that horrible habit the panel have of giving great long answers just to show how very much more they know about the subject. Worst of all is (may have happened already not sure), you get drawn to watching it 'cos you're so desperate for one of the teams to win this huge pay out that's been brewing for weeks. Please someone win and then I can stop watching again.

i know the challengers have the choice of going 1st or 2nd but i think no matter what they pick the questions get changed to make it easier for the eggheads, so they win!

Yes and long-winded. Why do they give verbose reasons for their answers? I constantly scream, at the TV "Just answer the question!"

its time to scramble them. they are so smug and extremely boring. i hate it when asked a question, instead of just answering they feel the need to explain how they know it?? who cares??? ive stopped watching because it just makes me cringe.
