I think Harry Hill's TV Burp is very underrated its slotted in just before the main Saturday night shows, but its sooo funny its the only time I ever watch ITV.
If you like a Bit of Fry and Laurie check out the book of their scripts it very good.

Really only underrated because it was overshadowed by Seinfeld, but I feel that "Mad About You" was a very sharply written, well presented series with graceful writing and complex characters and relationships. It could be a little zany, a little thought provoking and a little heartfelt, all at the same time. A wonderful series that I never felt got the credit it deserved.

Hi there.
The most underrated i ever saw was "Ultraviolet" on Channel 4, absolutely brilliant stuff as good as you will ever see.
Other hidden gems, now very hard to get, are "Brimstone" (US Cop series), "Firefly" (US scifi series) and of course "Hercules" and "Xena Warrior Princess".
If you like "King of the Hill", try and track down MTVs "Daria" - the best, funniest and most accurate cartoon series ever. Honest!
Cheers, Steve.
