I have heard some Christians say that they believe in evolution, but they make an exception for humans. They believe that the Judeo-Christian God created people in their current form.

What our your beliefs?

When Almighty God exploded self with a big bang... our Cosmos formed! And what is God Almighty? The cluster of pure cosmic energy... the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos is what we know as God Almighty! The hurtling souls' atmans after the big bang gathered impurities on the way similar as a rolling ball gathers moss!

To eradicate the impurities... the dross within all souls’ atmans manifests a total of 8.4 million bodies in their cosmic journey (a total life span of 96.4 million earthly years). Starting life in the Cosmos as an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle... it further evolves into multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of human beings!

Only as a human being the soul atman within gains permanent liberation from the cycle of birth and death when it reaches the 8.4 millionth manifestation... gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha)! Reaching the end of cosmic life is the goal and aim of every living being. Thereafter it is a direct journey into the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).

Right from the form of amoeba to the stage of human beings... it is through the process of evolution life moves ahead similar as we jump from class one to two... from two to three and so on! Life in the cosmic system moves uninterrupted... the entire life span of 8.4 million manifestations being a single life span for the soul atman!

Only on the earthly domain life seems interrupted when the death of the body occurs. In the cosmic domain the changing of the body is as simple as changing of guards at Buckingham Palace. The human form is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. Only as a human being the soul atman within gains liberation forever!

Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism on Mother Earth... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna is absolutely clear on the subject. How the Cosmos came into being, how God Almighty explodes self, the cosmic sojourn of every soul atman, the inter alia relationship between God Almighty, souls atmans and human beings and foremost of all queries why God Almighty made cosmos... all are explained in depth in the sacred Bhagavad Gita!

Amongst 8.4 million manifestations... the initial 7.3 million manifestations are spent in insect, plant and animal form! In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations amongst which there are different forms of apes who were our ancestors! There is absolutely no anomaly on the subject! Forgive me, but that's a really mixed up question. I am Christian. I believe in evolution. Neanderthals were a subspecies of our own species and only disappeared about 30000 years ago, having appeared only a few hundred thousand years ago. Humans can be considered to be a kind of ape. Science does not deal with proof, but with falsifiable theories for which there is substantial evidence. We evolved along with other apes, radiating from a common ancestor several million years ago - we did not evolve "from" apes as such.

Well did you know that early evolutionist also had a hard time believing that man came from ape? Rather white evolutionist assumed that the white man came from a more evolved (European looking) form of ape. While Africans came from a more lower form of ape. As if the black man evolved slowly.

Sometimes I think that white people still think that way today.
______

Yes I do. I think that all man came from an ape-like ancestor. Then there was that group of apes who looked out and wanted to know who else is out there.
________
All right I demand to know who gave me the thumbs down. I am merely stating a historical fact. Even Darwin tried to rationalize this delusional belief. LOL.

I believe God created us in accordance with a literal reading of Genesis. I think if it were not so, it wouldnt say so.

Evolution Ive noticed is just a theoretical method for the atheist to try to explain how we got here through no divine intervention. Christians that take in evolution are simply trying to mix the world with Christ and that doesnt work and is going to lead to more problems of faith for them.

Yes, God created people in their current form. "Macro-evolution", which essentially refers to a simpler organism developing into a more complex organism has been shown to be not true. There is absolutely no evidence of natural processes spontaneously producing the complex specified information we find in living systems. So no, I don't believe there is macro evolution ... There is no evidence for it. In fact the fossil record is evidence against it!

Hello Josh K.. :)

This is said with ~Love~ and just my opinion.. :)

If we were made in God's image..I do not think He is ape-like..

I do not think God is an 1 cell amoeba either..(I think) that is what we are supposed to have come from, to start with..

we didn't evolve from primitive apes in just 2000 years (macro evolution) we have the fossils and CARBON dating (very very reliable)to pretty much prove it
