saute garlic and onion in fry pan (we use 5 cloves and 1 white onion diced)
Add lots of bacon and mushrooms. Add cream when bacon and mushrooms have cooked for a few mins, thickened cream that is.. simmer for 15 mins. Add a handful of cheese when sauce is simmering and hot. Boil up ur favourite pasta. Chopped spring onions to top it off. Add milk to the sauce when hot if u want more liquid.. Easy and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tasty. Parmesan cheese if desired :) GOOD LUCK!!!!

Skillet Meatloaf
1 lb gound beef
1 small can tomato sauce
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 cup of chopped bell peppers and onion mixed
1 pkg dry brown gravy mix
Mix beff, sauce, soup and vegetables together and form into patties. In skillet; brown patties on both sides. Prepare gravy and pour over patties. Continue to simmer for 20 minutes, covered. Serve with potatoes:
Parmesan Potato Rounds
• 4 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced
• 1/8 tsp pepper
• 1 small onion, thinly sliced, separated into rings
• 1/8 tsp garlic powder
• 3 Tbls butter or margarine, melted
• 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/4 tsp salt
Place half of the potatoes in a greased 2-qt. or 11x7” baking dish. Top with onions and remaining potatoes; drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and tender.

When I am out of ideas I like this website: http://allrecipes.com/ it is full of good stuff. Just put in the ingredients you have on hand in the ingredient search and it will give you a list of nice recipes.
As for quick ones I know, you can do nice fajitas and nachos in 30 minutes, a nice salmon in 30 minutes (crusted salmon, my crush mainly made of cream crackers, lemon juice, melted butter, coriander leaves, parsley, garlic and grated cheddar), an healthy couscous or a rice casserole.

some quick and nummy things are: Lasanga its easy to prepare and very good. swedish meat balls, and this cool dish called raviolli bake. You put it togather like lasagna but use raviolli. If you need more ideas i would check out Rachel Ray she is on the food network and her specilty is 30 min meals. they are healthy and nummy
