I felt a lump on my nads, I think It might be cancer, I did an inter net search, all the results were the same, Testicular cancer. I thought I might be able to cut it out myself, If I numb it real good, or i can just let it go and see if it hurts, or if it spreads. If it does spread then I can take other action( you know). I really like to get it taken care of, but I have no insurace to cover the cost, which I believe to be anywhere from $50,000 to $200,000. I don't have that kind of money. that's the way the dice roll I guess. I even called cancer treatment centers of america, I told them I have no insurance and they hung up on me, hmmm. power of the dollar. what should I do, and is dying of this to painful, I have no insurance, so that means no pain killers, and I don't think I be able to go that far into it all. the worst thing that breaks my heart is the fact that I never became anything useful

Just because you did an internet search does not prove that you have cancer. Calm down. All internet searches bring that up as a result. I have learned to never EVER research any health issue on the web. Whatever the complaint is, the answer will always be the worst thing because the boring, simple things aren't interesting enough to get on the internet.
A lump does not necessarily mean cancer. It could be a number of different things also. But you DO need to see a doctor, just to put your mind at ease if nothing else. And even if it is (which I'll really bet it ISN'T) the cure rate for this disease is nearly 100% if a person gets it checked out quickly, so get on the phone or go to the local emergency room.

Good luck

Hmm....This is complicated. Perhaps a card that claims you might be there for him. Or a humorous publication or a movie that you simply guys can watch together. Dont deal with him any otherwise, dont hang around or call him less or hinder the subject etc. Some folks dont be aware of tips on how to react when any individual nearly them is experiencing anything like this and may push them away with even realizing it. So be there for him. Probably go discuss with him extra, or call to peer how he's doing. Or drop in with dinner randomly. If he wants to get chemo/radiation that can make men and women very tired, so offer your support. (he won't want to ask). Once I had a buddy diagnosed with cancer (he was late twenties I was 22) I visited him within the sanatorium, went to his apartment simply to hang out and preserve him organization. Got him a booklet when he used to be within the sanatorium and so forth. Excellent of good fortune.

Many hospitals will take "charity" cases. You go and tell them you have no money and insurance and they will treat you. Talk to the hospital about you "options". Most hospitals cannot turn patients away for an inability to pay.
Dude, testicular cancer is rough and you can't do anything yourself. Go do the doctor.
Also, some people get treatment and rack up the bills and then file bankruptcy.
The point is, you do have options.

Cutting it doesnt help since the blood cells are infected. It's a strange thought. Can you at least spend some money and see if you really have cancer? I know it's sad without insurance. There should be a solution.

DUDE, you cannot self diagnose and then self operate... this is a joke right?... Please go to a hospital that cannot deny you treatment based on ability to pay... Another option might be to get insurance long enough to get it in force and then go get treatment, say that everyting was fine when you signed up, but now you need to check this lump that appeared out... Thats what it's there for... don't freak.... and whatever you do, don't operate on your nads dude.... LOL GoodLuck

Go to your local health department! That's the first thing you need to do. Second, if in fact you do have cancer, you need to go sign up for disability or see the welfare office about receiving a medical card. This will cover your expenses. Also, please check out the Lance Armstrong Foundation, there may be some help for you there. The link is:

Please do not do anything foolish, there IS help out there! I wish you good health.
