birds = freedom
peaking at your head = be controlled, pressure
You may be feeling pressure about freedom you currently have. Projecting birds peaking at your head shows You may be feeling restricted in many things in your life. That includes decision making and so on. And you vent this out in dream.

Hi Minnie If this were my dream: I love birds, they are symbols of the connection between heaven and earth and are messengers from the Divine. Example, the white dove of peace. This was a lovely white bird (purity, spirituality, higher good, divine energy) the jewels only accented this. I got the impression the jewels were a sort of crown as in this was a divine representative. It comes to you and sits on your lap. This is a very personal and intimate thing, this is a direct message of love for you. We don't allow just anyone or anything to sit in our laps. When other people come near it flys away, because, I feel, this message of love is personal and meant for you and you alone. When they go away it returns, meaning to me that your source of guidance is never far from you, even when in your waking life you may feel alone, know that you are not... I also got the feeling when you are alone in meditation you have the ability to open yourself up to these higher energies and divine influences for even more direct communion and receiving of messages, should you wish to. Its no wonder this dream felt good! Oh, and the way we feel about the dream tells a lot too. This dream felt good, warm, loving, positive and made you feel extremely happy. It is good to be given a gift of a dream that reinforces the fact that you have spiritual and divine protection in your waking life (I just received one of my own a few days ago and it was amazing). Also, you were perched (like a bird) on the hood of your car. The car representing your body and vehicle of expression in the material world. You were out in front, on the hood, like you were sitting on a magic carpet. Again, a message that life can indeed be so free and expressive, flowing, carrying you with it, like you are on a magic carpet ride. It is effortless when you are going with the divine flow. I get the feeling that in your case, right now in your life, you are. You weren't, for example, stuck behind the wheel, which con-notates that while yes, you are still in the drivers seat there is more effort required to get where you want to go in life, no, you were perching on the hood. I also got the feeling just now as I write this that there could be yet another layer of meaning here about perching on the hood. One: As though YOU were a bird yourself with its ability to act as intermediary between the seen and the unseen worlds and two: The fact that you are not totally identified and surrounded by your physical body, which makes me think that you have psychic ability and could, if you wished, utilize this gift for assistance for others and also as a wonderful extra tool to help you navigate in your own life. For example, have you ever just known something, and had this knowing confirmed later? You pick up information about people and places without really knowing/understanding how you do - its through your connection to spirit. You are never alone. You are blessed. There are people out there with no spiritual guides.
