and illegals but they only do it behind a computer screen. The comments that are made on here are really sad and ignorant...*sigh*

I call them cowards with no class. I don't get it why some people seem to think that it is ok to say nasty and racist things online that they would never Dare say in real life. Are they ignorant jerks like this face to face?
The sad thing is that most of these people are adults..some of them have children.
Poor kids.. :(

I think its kinda funny that you are sitting behind a computer screen so brave and making fun of people...... who are sitting behind a computer screen!
You are engaging in the exact same behavior that you are posting about and don't even see it.
I think that's really sad and ignorant.

I think it's awful. Before I moved out of my native USA I would have never said anything nasty about immigrants because my mother was only a third generation American and grew up in a Hungarian-speaking neighborhood in Ohio. My father had German heritage and a German-sounding last name. His family had been in the States for about a hundred years and he was 100% American. He got into to street fights in the 40's and 50's because of all the animosity toward Germans after WWII. I live in England and the same things Americans are saying to Mexicans on Yahoo Answers is being said to me over here.
There are ignorant rednecks in every culture. Unfortunately, they're on-line too.
Of all the cultures, it is most sad when Americans act racist. They forgot their heritage. They forgot their families were once immigrants too.
My only hope is that some here on Yahoo Answers are posing as Americans and stirring things up. I once caught a dozen loud and drunk French teenagers pretending to be Americans in Munich, Germany. I've caught others over here pretending to be obnoxious Americans too. When you're on-line you can pretend to be anyone.

I agreed with you , that many of these hero's fight their best battles at the computer keyboard and make statements, that they would Never make to someone face to face. Many of the comments show the great amount of ignorance in their answers.
