I believe it says he had the "spirit" of Elijah or was the same kind of person like him,
and No on reincarnation; the bible says "once" it appointed for a man to die and after that Judgment

No...Jesus was and is Jesus the Son of God and John the Baptist was John The Baptist the forerunner for Jesus Christ and Mary's sister, Elizabeth's child.

And Jesus takes the same manner of his offer to do the new covenant offering.

No reincarnation.

No. No. And no.

1544 Everything that the priesthood of the Old Covenant prefigured finds its fulfillment in Christ Jesus, the "one mediator between God and men." The Christian tradition considers Melchizedek, "priest of God Most High," as a prefiguration of the priesthood of Christ, the unique "high priest after the order of Melchizedek"; "holy, blameless, unstained," "by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are sanctified," that is, by the unique sacrifice of the cross.

523 St. John the Baptist is the Lord's immediate precursor or forerunner, sent to prepare his way. "Prophet of the Most High", John surpasses all the prophets, of whom he is the last. He inaugurates the Gospel, already from his mother's womb welcomes the coming of Christ, and rejoices in being "the friend of the bridegroom", whom he points out as "the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world". Going before Jesus "in the spirit and power of Elijah", John bears witness to Christ in his preaching, by his Baptism of conversion, and through his martyrdom.

Jesus is Melchizedek. He is also the Word and has been with God from the beginning. John the Baptist came in the spirt of Elijah.

No reincarnation here.

Christ, the Anointed One, has many names and titles. Satan, antichrist, instead of christ, the devel, also has many names and titles.

II don't even know who Melkelsadic is but I'm sure he is not Jesus. John on the other hand reminded a lot of people of Elijah but he was not Elijah but a completely different prophet and person.

Its very possible.....on both accounts. However, there is nothing concrete to make the connection.

Not reincarnation..... the same person. Always was the same person.

It was Moses and Elijah who descended out of heaven to speak to Jesus during the Transfiguration. They were not really dead.... same people.

I believe the old testiment had amny shodows of Jesus or God and they were just to show how the true creater would be. I think melcizodec was representing God ( the father). Joseph daved mosses and so on Jesus but none were him. just showing how he would save his people.
