OK Bunny,
First off depends WHAT you are planning to do in the army - are you likely to be posted abroad? or somewhere away from where you are at the moment.
Also depends HOW SERIOUS you are with him, have you been going out for a short while? Are you planning to get married? Are you living together?
Best advice is to go along to the army recruiting office / the main MOD website and have a look at what's on offer THEN sit down with him and have a chat about it.
It may not be easy BUT you don't want to end up with regrets.
Good luck

I try to treat women equally in everything but I dont like the idea of women fighting.
I would not be happy with you joining the army simply because it puts you at risk.
Yes its probably the wrong way to think, but I am not going to change, women should run society, men should fight.

Not particularly but at the same time I would support my girlfriend if that was her decision. Her life is hers to lead and I am happy if she is.....although I would be worried out of my mind most days I should think.

How long have you been together? Are you intending marrying her? If so, it will make it easier as if you get a posting abroad she will be able to go with you - otherwise consider it likely to fail - she is used to you being around at the moment, so may find the adjustment to you being away pretty hard to cope with

No, because it's a bit to "butch" ! I wouldnt want my future kids being taunted with "your Mother wears Army boots !". The Navy or Airforce would be different though, my brothers GF just joined the Navy ! I remenber my Brother Inlaw implying he would leave my sister if she whent ahead and joined the Army, but that was more practicality, traditional roles and yeh sexism.

If I am completely honest I wouldn't you to. BUT if I knew that it meant a lot to you then I would support you 100%. You go for it, you should never live your life regretting that you didn't do something you wanted to. Good luck.

If you have set your heart on this you may regret it later if you dont at least try.
You could end up blaming your partner for holding you back
How far have you looked into it?
I think you should go for it
GO GIRL!!!
