I read q and a here that both sides seem to be belligerent. Atheists attack Christians for believing in God and Christian attack atheists for non-belief. Then each feel they have to defend themselves. Can we have a discussion and not disparage the other?

I think about that all the time. Here's the rip. Many of the religious people here don't want to discuss anything at all. Any honest discussion of theology is seen as an "attack" on their beliefs, which are not to be questions.

Some of the atheists on here are trolls who just want to piss people, but not as many as their used to be.

I think that we do generally try to understand each other, but sometimes it's just so fun to rant. =D

But, seriously, i think there does need to be more respect from all 'sides', a bit more acceptance, and less flaming (unless someone really deserves it).

So, let's all share the LOVE. =)

That's the "holy grail" of Y/A Rand S section, and just like the other grail...it's unattainable.
