i wish to book a holiday on the gold coast (aust) before schoolie to avoid the school leavers, however i'm unable to find the start date of the event. please help

Schoolies week is for the final year students who have just completed their exams. Go the week before and all the little dears are busy using the brains they are about to destroy in a week of drugs, drunkenness and debauchery so it will be quiet.

Schoolies starts too soon every year, and lasts too long,ha ha!
Avoid the Gold Coast in November like the plague!!
Unless you like copping abuse from drunk / drugged 18 year olds with parents stupid enough to give them a credit card (Jeez, I must be getting old)
