Hi everyone!

Do any of you guys know of English two-syllable adjectives that end in -ow, and in -er?

Thanks.

Yes, thanks everyone!
I wasn't looking for comparatives, but thanks anyway for helping!

Shallow, hollow, callow, sallow, yellow, aglow, fallow, mellow.
Better, and all comparatives of one syllable adjectives will end in -er: louder, sharper, wider, cooler, etc...
Dapper, super, bitter and proper are not comparatives and finish with -er.

Can't think of any more -ow ones that haven't been said.

-er ones that aren't comparatives:

copper, silver (they can be nouns too of course)

fallow, hollow

outgrow and swallow are verbs, knowhow is a noun, and somehow is an adverb.

Looks like somebody went through and gave a thumbs down to every answer but their own?

You could start wth these.............

hollow...............finer
callow...............clever
pillow................weather
fallow.................hotter
tallow.................colder
mellow...............wetter
yellow.................drier
shallow...............warmer
sallow.................cooler
willow..................poorer

..........but I am sure there are dozens more. If you start running out, look for nouns which can also be used as adjectives. Hope this helps.
