I find a lot of rage and anger towards christians all throughout the world. Welcome to the last days. The world is being gradually transformed into the type of world that will accept the anti-Christ when he comes and we're almost there. One hundred years ago the world was too religious to accept an anti-christ. Anyone with the characteristics of the anti-christ would have been soundly rejected back then. But not anymore. Today, the anti-christ would fit right in.
Who was that the european union official in Brussels who said that "if you bring us a man who can solve the worlds problems, we will follow him to the ends of the earth even if he is satan himself". Well, the world is going to get that man. His appearance is just around the corner. The signs of the end are all there(http://www.livingwaters.com/Merchant2/graphics/tracts/prophecy/index.html)

The forerunner to Anger is a mental factor called Inappropriate Attention. *Inappropriate Attention exaggerates the negative qualties of a person, object, situation, or idea and projects onto it negative qualties that are not really there, thus creating an incorrect story about it.
*Thubten Chodron has an excellent book out called "Working With Anger" - it teaches effective techniques on How to Cultivate Patience-which is the alternative to anger; teaches what to do when our buttons are pushed; how to effectively cope with negative criticism; letting go of grudges and resentments for healing; teaches how to cultivate love, kindness and compassion; and the wisdom that cools the flames and much more. She goes around the Country giving talks on How to Cultivate/Develop Patience in our lives. *Thubten Chodron defines Patience as the ability to remain internally and externally calm and undisturbed in the face of harm and difficulties in life. She's a terrific author and anyone reading Working With Anger would benefit from it immensely.

"Working With Anger" would help anyone who even occasionally has difficulties with anger in their lives. *Love is very Patient, Kind; Love is not
easily offended by others in life. Thubten Chodron
teaches excellent effective techniques on how to develop the loving quality of Patience in our lives.

Only from a small number of trolls. Remember, jokes and banter are not the same things as 'rage and anger.'

It seems to me that a lot of Christians fly into a defensive rage when people criticize or mock their religion.

But the thing is, in our culture, we criticize and mock everything else. I used to have a crappy old Datsun pickup truck. It was terrible. My friends and I made fun of it all the time.

Similarly, I used to be a Christian. Now I think it was just silly of me to have been that. My friends and I make fun of Christianity, too.

That doesn't amount to rage and anger. It's just regular jokery.

Nope, but some questions are pretty bigoted and I doesn't portrait much christian values or beliefs, or much intelligence for that matter. I'm quiet happy to contemplate and ponder questions that are thought provoking, but others that appear to want to provoke a negative response get just that!

Just the ones who have no idea what they are talking about, who have never read the Bible and who act more like religious fanatics than true Christians.

Yes i get it every where i go. My secret is that I don't advertise it. Because once u say you r a God believer then everyone watches u to see when u make a mistake. Plus you will only make christian friends. I don't have any christian friends.Hilarious because I have a very high spiritual position in my church.

Some rage and anger...mostly FEAR I believe. Most people who talk bad about my Lord Jesus Christ are afraid. They will say they are not. But they know what they must do, but if they profess with their mouth the love of our Lord Jesus Christ they feel they will have to change their lives and LIVE IT! The thing is they don't want to do that.

So I would say FEAR! I will pray for the lost souls each day!

Well, Maybe ya, from the atheists. Well, Muslims are treated worse. Looks like in the midst of chaos, Muslims and Christians have found a common enemy. Just kidding. We should all try to answer hatred and bigotry with love. Atheists some time do irate me and piss me off. Coz, basically I don't give a damn abt them until they come and poke their asses in my way.
