Maybe your digital camera is of good quality but passed the company quality control on inspector wrong decision. Better get a new one so you can compare the result on who's fault, you or the digicam. Good luck.

Find a quiet place and get comfortable. Now read and study your Owner's Manual. Learn all the settings and features on your camera. Now practice using them. Practice until you are confident that you know them. Re-read your Manual as needed.
Using your camera should be as easy and natural as using a knife and fork.

my guess would be that you have the camera set to macro, look for a tulip shaped icon on the display, if you see it refer to your user manual to get out of macro mode and your photos should be a lot better, macro is used for close up detailed photography only.

Show us some of the pictures you've taken. Maybe that will give us a hint exactly what you're doing wrong.
