My cat had an accident last week when he jumped of a bench with a wooden skewer in his mouth and unfortunetely the skewer hit the ground before he did and ended up puncturing his spinal cord.
He's on medication and he's getting better every day, however he's having trouble moving his right legs. They are really improving and he can even slowly walk and stand on them (very Wobbly) but i want to know if there's more I could be doing for him like excersises with him.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Methyl B 12 not just B 12 helps neuropathy and that means it helps regenerate nerve damage. Edited to add it is available at health stores. It is also being used in many other things like autism etc. It goes right through the system, if the cat or person doesn't need it they lose it in their pee. Cats with neuropathy from diabetes that can't use their back legs take it some say 3 mg a day others give 9. It won't hurt to overdose on the 9. It takes 5 to 6 or so weeks to start working. Good luck, I am so glad you are willing to take the time to get your boy well rather than PTS because he is sick.
I am not sure with exercises my Moms cat had a stoke and she used the same exercises used on a human with range of motion but the person that suggested warm water therapy of swiming with you holding sounds good to me. Ask your vet to be sure. I don't want to injure your boy more than he is.

http://www.geocities.com/jmpeerson/canfood.html pick a high protein low under 10% carb canned food. Fish no more than 1 or two meals a week if you must feed it.

Tammy's suggestion about swimming is good therapy for a cat with a spinal injury. You may also want to consider therapeutic massage by using the Tellington Touch. This is a slow, three-finger, light massage on the affected area and your cat will appreciate the gentle caress as a deeper form of bonding in addition to stimulating those damaged nerves.

Yes,hold him under his belly and chest and have him swim in a tub full of warm water for 5 or 10 minutes twice a day.Of course you'll have to dry him well after, but he'll be very clean! If it stresses him, though, you'll have to stop. B vitamins and Co Q 10 could help, too.Ask your vet about them.Good luck.

If that part of his tail is actually fractured then the vet is the only avenue to go down really. If there are any cuts to that part of his tail all you could do at home is bath it with a saline solution....salt water. As for swelling with no cuts or lacerations you could try ice to bring the swelling down. Is there any way you could take your cat to the vet & worry about the cost at a later date - the important subject here is the cat & if you leave it untreated he might end up losing a large portion of his tail. Good luck to both you & kitty. x
