We as a nation would like to thank your son or daughter for their service to our country, and you must really be proud of your son or daughter. Its because of their sacrifice that we live as free people in the United States, and we will never forget them.

As a soldier, I can tell you that the only thing my family ever needed was reassurance in our training, our commands, and our missions. Families want to hear that everything will be okay, and that if the ultimate sacrifice is ever given by a loved one that, that soldier never died in vein. - info about family support groups and coping is always good, and last of all honesty. Don't beat around any bush, they need to feel like they are in the know. tell the truth, speak from the heart.

I got special commerative army men as a gift to all the families. And also I'd tell them that I hope things cool down, you know, (with all that global warmming and these dudes are stuck in one of the hottest places on earth).

Decode this lyrics " I will remember you"
It was a great sacrifice for the good of mankind.
Their loss is not a total loss.
Their names and glory with honour will never be forgotten in time.
Will always be remember in time as success in worshiping God for the Liberation of Freedom for the good of mankind.
And each and everyone of the family had contributed the glory and honour for that Freedom
Thank you.

Thank you. I'm sorry. Wanted to let you know that I opposed the war from the beginning and I blame the President for that but I've always hoped that American soldiers returned safely. And had good health care when they come back. If your loved ones suffer from PTSD I hope they are able to get the help they need.

While I disagree with this war, I would not say anything to the families about it. In my opinion, there is a time and place for that and I don't think it is appropriate in this particular case. I would just do my best to give them encouragement and wish them the best of luck.

I am an armywife so all i wanted to hear was that people were supporting and praying for the safety of my husband and all his fellow soldiers. And that they appreciated everyones sacrifice. Thats all anyone can really do.

What i did not care to hear was " i know what your going through..my cousins uncles brothers aunts dad was in the war 30 years ago" blah...
