In the Bible the birth of women, for the most part, was never recorded. Genesis 4:3 says "‘And in the course of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering to the Lord.’ How long was "in the course of time"?
Adam was 130 years old when Eve bore Seth . She considered him a replacement for Abel, so Adam possibly could have been 100 years or more when Cain killed Abel. If it happened early on then why would Eve say Seth is a replacement for Abel? They could have had several daughters in the meantime. In those days degenerative mistakes weren't an issue so marrying a relative wasn't considered wrong. As a matter of fact God did not condemn family marriage until several hundred years later to Moses (Leviticus 18) because of population growth and generational diseases.
Just think Adam and Eve's genetics were perfect. After several hundred generations it became corrupt after the fall of man. Laws today forbid family marriages because of biological deformities. Some of our Social taboos of today weren't considered wrong in those days, because population growth had to happen some how....

Some of those answers are disgusting. !
The logical truth on the matter is that Adam and Even had many daughters and sons.
These would have paired off , married and gone their separate ways.
The idea of Eve having relations with her sons is not accurate.
Eve was married to Adam and even though they now were imperfect people , they still likely honored such an God made arrangement.
Some say regarding Eves children ¨OOOHH , incest¨. , but it wasn't., well not as we know it.
According to an online dictionary says this -
¨Which family members constitute those covered by the incest prohibition is determined by the society in which the persons live.¨
So depending upon the society that the individuals are in determines if this is acceptable conduct or not.
Now days in most modern countries it is not acceptable.
But back then , when people were closer to perfection there was no problems with birth defects etc. , so it was not considered to be dirty.
Therefore it was an appropriate course of action to take , considering the circumstances and the society they were in at that time.

Read all the Genesis 1-3. Adam & Eve had many more children who are not named. Adam & Eve lived for nearly 1000 years.
You figure out who the wives were.

As I was reading Genesis one evening, I noticed that the author mentions in the first chapter that on the fifth day, God created man. I assumed that the author meant mankind, but at the start of the second chapter, the author tells us that on the fifth day, God created human beings. It occurs to me that perhaps God used evolution as one source for a man-like creature and creationism as the source for a human being. The former, the man creature, would probably have no soul, which would explain why so many people act as if they have no conscience or morals. It would be a fifty/fifty chance after that... a soulless creature mates with a souled creature, has two children. One may have a soul, the other none. Two soulless creatures would bear offspring with no souls, just as two souled creatures would bear offspring with souls. The soulless creatures would be the wives of Adam and Eve's sons. BTW, there was a third son, Seth, from whom Noah is descended, thus (supposedly) every living human after that.

Adam and Eve had more than two sons. The Bible specifically lists Cain, Abel, and Seth. No wife is recorded for Abel. Cain's wife is believed to be from the land of Nod. The lineage descending from both Cain and Seth is listed but women are not traditionally listed in the Israelite genealogies. It is a reasonable assumption that Seth married one of his sisters. This would have fallen within religious legalities because God had yet to place restrictions on the degrees of separation appropriate for marriage.

The Jewish books talk of a wife before Eve, Lilith. However, there is only some mention of their having children - and any children Lilith has are demons, and I doubt Eve would allow her sons to marry demons.
Although many theologians believe that Cain and Abel married their sisters, I think it is evident that the world is peopled due to the fact that when Cain kills Abel, he is banished to an inhabited world and is actually afraid that someone will kill him. Where these other people came from is unknown, however, as their existence is not explained. (Although in doing the research, it's starting to look pretty compelling that they did marry their sisters.)
Although later the fallen angels come to earth and intermingle with human females, this is around Noah's time...

You get an F, for Failing to Read The Book.
According to the story, A&E had 3 sons with names, and hundreds of sons and daughters. Genesis describes Cain - one of the two sons you are thinking of - finding a wife, in another region, after he was banished for killing his brother, Abel. The third son is Seth who doesn't do much except for being Jesus' greatest grandpappy after Adam (New Testament.)
Genesis also describes the earliest stages of the earth being populated by the offspring of the Sons of God and Daughters of Man. Sons of God is a phrase that is used to refer to Adam in the New Testament and could be interpreted to mean that God made other mud-people like Adam, or that these were spiritual humanoids being fruitful with the human offspring.
Please have some familiarity with a story before you attempt to deconstruct it.

Most of the replies of above question surprises me.
Adam was the first man on earth and Eve was the first woman. To whom their sons and daughters will marry? You talk about incest for them. I wonder on the ignorance. Even people of poorest country like Bangla Desh know better.
Adam and Eve lived more than 1000 years. Eve delivered twins ( a boy and a girl) every time she had babies. It is not known how many times she delivered babies in her 1000 years life. God gave Adam and Eve rule of marriages for their children as follows".
God had to spread their children as a society and nation to live by His rules of conduct.
A boy and a girl born together as twins were real brother and sister and weren't allowed to marry with each other. But the boy and girl of one set of twin were allowed to marry with the boy and girl of any other set of twins. God made this a rule for them. So for them marrying with a girl of another set of twin was not considered incest.
You guys judge children of Adam and Eve by the rules of this day and age?
Does it make any sense? What else they would have done? Concept of Incest wasn't born then.

The Bible tells you at what age they got married and the family trees of each.
The Bible does not tell you that Adam and Eve were the ONLY people created but just the first ones
