I'm a Christian. You are assuming that all Christians are Fundamentalists, who interpret the Bible literally without using the brains that God gave us. I for one am insulted by your attitude of assumed intellectual superiority.

I explain the undisputed fact of the identification of early human remains with gratitude to God for the brains and the talent and the ability and the industry of the anthropologists from whose work we have all, as humans, derived benefit.

Religious people are conveniently unburdened by such tenets as evidence and logic, their set of conditioned thought processes collectively referred to by most of them as 'faith' is above question, it is impossible to refute. Indeed the mere premise of objectively debating the existence of god is on the edge of blasphemy, they are conditioned to actively reject any glimmer of objectivity -- that would be satan talking; they simply refuse to listen.

When you consider how preposterous some of their hallmark assertions are, few things they say or do are surprising: Brother Bob's front yard falls into a sink hole, it's god testing his faith or teaching him a lesson; Brother Jim lands a decent job a week before unemployment runs out, oh praise god! A good weather day, a scenic view of some unspoiled geographic feature, even the food on the table -- it's all part of the miracle of god's bounty.

The reality is that it would make more sense to thank the wage earner that bought the groceries, and the food preparer that worked to make a nice meal. If a prime rib dinner and a magnum of Dom materialized out of thin air, *that* sort of miracle would make me titter with gratitude! (Unless, near the end of the meal, someone leaves a check that I'm expected to pay -- that would be a restaurant; hardly miraculous.) :-)

But as far as the roast beef that I paid $6/lb for and spent an hour preparing, sitting on the table I bought, in the house I'm paying for -- call me an ingrate if you will, but I'm unclear on exactly what part of all that came by the grace and generosity of some cosmic benefactor!

So in any case, to answer your question, they think within the confines of their rhetoric, and when that gets blown out, they abstain from thinking at all. Empirical proof means nothing to them, because they have no need for it... a mindset that puts a real damper on intellectual discussion, to say the very least. :-)

"No" that is not the case dear at all. If So" Why would they have their names to begin with? Think about what i just asked you for a second; Their names identified the different eras of early.
"Modern Man" As for Christians i,ve heard a lot of them decline that there was even such an existance; But" There's too much evidence to prove that theory "and" It is in fact true."

I agree with the first few posters... if you believe the biblical account of creation and have faith in God and Jesus Christ, these "puzzlers" just aren't worth thinking about or bothering with. If you are secure in your faith and your salvation, rest assured you will get all the answers to all your questions when you meet Jesus in heaven.

God is a supernatural being, and supernatural things defy reason and science. Perhaps these fossils have been misinterpreted or misdated, or perhaps they were placed there as a test of your faith. In either case, you should not allow your faith in God to be shaken by worldy issues.

I love you, and so does Jesus...

For some Evolutionist can't show me a real fossil of an "Australopitheus"?t The"Neanderthal"sullks found had much larger skulls than "homo sapiens" and had much more room for a larger brain. The only bones found of an "Austrianpithecus" 'Lucy', is proven to be a fraud.

I beleive they were an early form of poeple. It is true animals evolve, but what started animals? What started the big bang? What started the universe? And so on.... Acording to science, something must cause something. Who caused everything? GOD.

I think that science is still trying to figure this stuff out too, and as recently as this year, one major evolutionary theory about man's origins was proven wrong.

I think that there may have been several species of human or human-ish people. It does not affect my faith to say that or think it.

Fossil remains are fossil remains. They only tell part of a story, not the whole story.

If you are alluding to Darwin's theory of Evolution, you need to check out the Center for Science and Culture (CSC) at this site: www.dissentfromdarwin.org (for a real current tune-up on this by Scientists -NOT "Religionists")
Sounds like "Reverend C" hasn't done his homework, either !!!

Christians view that Jesus is the son of God; He was on earth much after your Neanderthals and they don't dispute it! He was born and died much after even known civilization; they don't dispute that there was life before him, obviously there was...Do you think that Jesus was wrongly identified? How do you explain his presence?
