What would you do if you fell on your face and your tooth was hanging out? You would got to the doctor, wouldn't you? Take the dog to the vet! If you can't get to an emergency vet, then call your regular vet first thing in the morning. You can give the dog half an aspirin, nothing else, until you see the vet. You're lucky the dog didn't break it's neck, and a neck injury IS a possiblity, another reason for the vet.
Now your mother may have made things worse! Ibuprofen is very bad for dogs,it can cause bleeding in the stomach, and kidney damage!
A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent that possesses analgesic and antipyretic activities; used for symptomatic relief of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis in humans, but its use in dogs is limited by the occurrence of undesirable side-effects such as gastrointestinal hemorrhage and kidney damage.Stumbling
Dogs are particularly sensitive to the stomach ulcer effect of ibuprofen. Stomach ulcers can occur within 12 hours of ingestion but sometimes can take up to four days. With massive overdose or ingestion, severe kidney impairment can occur within 12 hours of ingestion but may take up to five days. In severe cases, seizures may occur.

Do NOT give the dog any human medication. He may have a concussion, medication could make things worse at this point. And why haven't you taken him to the vet?
He needs to go the the vet NOW or he may die.
EDIT: Ibuprofin can KILL a dog-- and in your situation that might. There's a very fine line between giving them the tiny bit they need and poisoning them so their kidneys shut down. Worry less about him getting drugs and more about the cranial damage he sounds like he has. And YES there *are* vets up all night called Emergency Vets.
Your dog is a child to you-- if you weren't responsive and teeth were dangling, wouldn't your mother take you to the ER? Same rules apply! Now GO!

The only thing you should do is get him to a vet immediately.
Advil or Motrin? Absolutely not! Never, ever give human pain pills to a pet. These can cause poisoning, organ failure, and death.
Your pet needs medical help now. It is your mother's responsibility to get the dog treated by a professional.
Your dog is not a toy, it's a life - you don't have the right to treat it any differently than you expect to be treated yourself. If this happened to you - what would happen? I'd hope your mother would take you to an ER.

First... take a breath, hold it, and let it out. Freaking out will not help your dog right now so please stay as calm as you can. I know some of the responces on here seem harsh, especially since you are worried about your dog. Honestly, so are all of the people who replied to your question.
Try calling your vet's normal office line. I know it is after hours, but they may have an answering service with a human on the end for you to talk to. If they do not, get your phone book and keep calling different vet offices until you find one with a human on the other end. The office with an after hours person for emergencies will also have a vet on call should your dog need it.
In the future, please consider a doggie seatbelt or crating your dog for car rides to prevent injury.

::banging head against a brick wall in frustration::
Why haven't you called the vet? There should be a 24-hour emergency vet somewhere in your area that you can at least call. If he has loose teeth and is lethargic, there's a chance he did some injury to his head or neck.
Don't give him painkillers without at least checking with the vet - some types of human painkillers will kill him.
A question - if your brother had fallen and had the same symptoms, would your mother just give him an Advil and put him to bed? Or would she take him to the doctor? Why is the dog any different??

Even though there aren't any 24 hour vets, many times they will take turns to cover the night shift.. Try calling several listen to their answering machine, they will refer you to the one on call.. If not, take him first thing in the morning He probably just has a tooth ache of course he doesnt want to eat and is in pain....He'll be ok but don't delay in the morning...

If he isn't eating and his mouth is damaged or he seems to be having trouble breathing, I would find the nearest animal hospital (usually open 24/7) and have the dog checked out. If you can't afford that, I would say keep an eye on the dog, and if it continues not to eat tommorow, or its conditions worsen, try to take it somewhere to be seen, like calling your local vet and saying you have an emergency and ask if they will meet you at their office to check the dog out. Good Luck!

NO, NO, NO ... do NOT give the dog Motrin or Advil!
Don't ever give medication without consulting a vet. You need to call the vet for advice, and will probably have to take the dog to the vet in the morning. Please don't give him any medication without your vet's approval, because some common pain-relievers can be deadly to dogs.

first off... a big NO to the human medication. Even the mild children's stuff can be highly toxic to dogs. Second if you're local pet store is open go see if you can find some liquid pain medication for small dogs.
After that... vet. The sooner the better. He might have just knocked his teeth loose or he could have fractured or broken his jaw. Either way he'll need proffesional care.

Be careful what you give him as he is little compared to a human. No more than a 1/4 of a tablet of aspirin. If you have it, a BC powder would be easier for him to take, again just a little bit, you don't want to overdose. That should help him to get him some rest until you can get him to a vet tomorrow. He isn't playful or hungry because it hurts. Make sure he has plenty of water to drink and he drinks it. Hope he and you guys feel better.
