How do i ask out a girl?

i have never been on a date in my life. I guess i focused more on my school than anything. Now there is a girl that i really like, but don't know if she likes me. I am a really shy person and am afraid she will say no if i ask her out. it would really help me out if someone could help me. preferably a girl. Im in the 12th grade.

You need to build up your confidence. Go out to a nearby mall, smile and say "hi" or "hello" to every woman you pass by. Do this a lot of times until you're not scared of doing so, then see if that doesn't help you feel better about talking to this girl.

you plan where you want to go, do, etc,
and then you ask the person if they want to go

it's that simple. They say yes or no.
if she says no ask someone else.

But you need to know exactly what you want them to do or where you are going.
