If they were never compiled into any Bible, then they are not Bible books. There are certainly books of scripture that are not in the Bible. How can there be a restoration of the gospel in the last days without revelation? How can there be revelation without at least some of it being written down and thus becoming scripture? I don't know if the Vatican is sitting on any plain and precious truths, but in Zechariah 13, take a look at verses two through five. They are speaking of a false prophet and how he will eventually have to do honest work. Then take a look at verse six. That is all that remains of a Messianic prophecy that was almost perfectly excised. (It makes no sense in the context of the preceding verses.) The single most important prophecy of the Tanakh might have been edited out of it right there -- for what purpose I cannot say.

You won't be able to find unpublished books. If it is not published, it exists only in manuscript, and you would have to find a collection which contains them and gain access to that library.

You might though be speaking of things such as the Gnostic gospels and such. Many of these are published. You'll also find that there are a number of books in the Catholic Bible that are not in the protestant Bible.

A good place to start might be a book entitled "The Other Bible", which contains a number of gospels and other texts which were not included in the Bible for one reason or other.

There are catholic books the Protestants left out too.
For those go to http://bibleresources.bible.com/
or any catholic bible.
The rest or all over the net and easy to find.
Or just stick with the bible they were left out for a reason. I've read them and they seem to cloud the issue and don't offer any authenticity. As the gospel of Judas.

Library or internet, look up gnostic gospels, dead sea scrolls, gospel of thomas, mary, phillip etc. and all that, you will eventually find it, even some catholic sites have links to them. Second hand bookshops are also a bonanza for these types of books and maybe one of those new age stores

The key word is *unpublished*

I'm thinking you'd probably have to go look at original texts...

If they haven't been burned, they're probably buried deep in the catacombs of an obscure monastery somewhere in Europe. No hope there.

Jesus was pretty much against organized religion, so why would people want to start an organized religion about a man who was against it?
