Ask him how long an enlistment is at this time. Ask him what kind of education can you expect to get in the Navy. Ask him if you will possibly be deployed to the middle east. I don't know anything you can ask him, so just use your common sense and ask those questions that are rel event to you. Good luck and thank you for choosing to serve your country!

no no.. i have a meeting with one in a few mins. but you should ask him how long are their contracts i think its a minuim of 4 years and ask him about your asvab test that test will determain what kind of jobs you can get in the navy.. an e-1 is the lowest an e-2 and e-3 see if you can score an e-3 so that way you have more better chances in getting the job you want for your feild. the reason y he'd comming to your house is your'e probaly under 18 and he's going to have your mom or dad sign some papers for you since ur under 18 and they need parent consent. but ask as much questions as you like there is no such thing as a stupid question remember this is your LIFE ask as much as you can.. they will pressure you and get you to join but dont do it yet until you are really ready and know deep down inside that's what you want to do in life. also u must pass the physical and swear in the oath of enlistement.

You have a navy recruiter coming to your house, 'tomarow' or the next day?

I am going to guess he is coming the next day. You should probably ask how important effective communication skill are in the armed forces.

Schools provide a list of seniors information to military recruiters. Your school sold you out! They have a quota to fill or they are in deep trouble, if you don't want to go tell them no. If they persist in bothering you than ask for their higher up and have them make the recruiter go away. Do not let them think you show a spec of interest or they will continue to contact you. Side note, them picking you up without you walking in or doing a meeting is really unusual. Make sure they are who they say they are.

Ask him for a ride to take the ASVAB, take it then go talk to the Marine Recruiter next door.

I did that to the Army Recruiter, after I found out he wasn't telling the whole story to me years ago.

Never enjoyed the look on anyones face more than right then.

depends on if the recruiter is one of those straight up kind of people or beat around the bush kind of people. obviously you've made your decision to join one of the military branches, congrats.

you'll need to know that even though they promise you a job, you're not absolutely garaunteed that job, even if you get it in writing. there's fine print that says that if later on they decide that you're not right for that job and they need you somewhere else or your background makes you not properly qualified for the job, they can move you somewhere else and there's nothing you can do for it. it's called "what's good for the military".

you can most likely expect (depending on your age) if you're a recent high school graduate for them to extol on the virtues of the GI Bill and focus alot on that. Depending on your job they may offer you a sign on bonus, which most of them don't tell you that you don't get it all at once, it's given to you in incriments so don't spend that money all in one place. they'll go over where you'll be going to basic training, which is great lakes training center in illinois. then if you've decided on a particular job, they'll tell you where you'll be going to your school for your job. They'll go over benefits etc.

ask him about the possiblilities of getting Recruiter's Assistant after you basic training.
that will give you about a month at home after basic training to work at the recruiters office, recruiting people and helping you gain promotion points towards your next rank.

OR... ask him to leave because you'd rather talk to the Marines recruiter. (had to do that, i was a Marine)

anyways... Good Luck to ya

Ask about the 'nuke program'...nuclear engineering, if you can get nuclear machinist mate, you'll do well when you get out, also ask about the journeymen apprenticeship program.

Edit--I need to emphasis the JOURNEYMEN apprenticeship program, when you aren't given a school you are in an apprenticeship program but that is not the same thing.

Do not let him/her talk you into ANY apprenticship program. Those turn into pait chipping jobs. Make sure you go into a SPECIFIC school. Don't do anything you are not comfortable doing.
