I am trying to teach a friend a lesson about parenting and wanted to buy one of those fake babies that cry and need to be fed. If anyone has any ideas that would be great!

I'm not sure, but you could ask a hospital, parenting class teacher, school, etc., where they get their baby (doll) and see if you can buy one. Maybe they will let you rent one or borrow one if you find the right contact. Sounds like a good plan; good luck!

I graduated Hishschool in 2003 and one of the years i took a child education class and they made us take one of those babies for 3 days... I took a baby twice cuz it was really fun for me and easy, but some couldnt stand the baby, I would call some hospitals or teen organizations or call a school and ask if they have any program like that and maybe they could let you know where to get one. This program was made in our school due to a mother and a father having a baby. They were both young in there teens, and the father shook the baby. Unfortunately the baby didnt survive. This mother of the baby and her mother came up with the program and donated alot of money to have these babies made, and our local Highschool and few in the area still run this program. I think it is great.

Search for "baby think it over" I found them listed on Ebay, but are sure there are other sites that sell them as well. Look into your local community within the school system, or places like planned parenthood for the possibility of renting one rather than buying one. There should be some kind of program where you can get one to use. Just ask about baby think it over, which is the "doll" you are looking for.

You may rent them from planned parenthood classes at your local organizations. You may also buy them off of ebay or from your local school. They can be very expensive though so make sure this is the only alternative for your friend.

I wish I knew and wish they'd make that a part of a class in getting through high school! There'd be a lot less little girls hoping to get pregnant to have someone to love and to love them back. I bet you could search them down on ebay or the net.
