Is it possible to shoot a gun with a boxers' fracture?
Just curious if anyone has ever tried this

I don't know what a boxers fracture is but you can learn to shoot left or right handed. I knew a guy who shot with three fingers. he did well.

Of course, it depends upon severity of the injury. But, it is unlikely, even if the pinky knuckle led in the boxer impact. Fist clenching returns / heals first and the ability to extend the knuckles doesn't really improve enough for the strength required for a trigger pull for appoximately two weeks. Some weapons, though, require much less strength for triggering. If pinning / surgery was done, there would be less range of motion during healing.

Yes....my ex-partner was a Vietnam Vet war hero whose hands were so badly broken in the war that he had all of the tips of his fingers blown off. He spent 3 years in a VA hospital & still became a great marksman years later. He also became a black belt in karate.
