Your computer needs to have a memory card reader.
If it doesn't, then you can buy a multi-card reader; however, buying the usb cable maybe cheaper at that point.

If your computer did not come with card slots, you need to get a card reader. It will need a usb cable to hook it up. Your computer will recognize it as soon as you plug it in and assign it a drive letter. Then you open it as you would open any other drive. you can then move the picture files to any folder on your hard drive. I have separate folders for weddings, birthdays, sports, etc. You can then clear the card no different than you would delete files from any where else.

hi, i think of you will possibly be utilising a HC SD card (intense means safeguard digital). despite if on first inspection they provide the effect of being precisely like frequent SD enjoying cards some card readers do no longer help the intense means enjoying cards. it extremely is suprising that your Vaio isn't recognising the cardboard - despite if i assume that relies upon on how previous your Vaio is - it extremely is probable well worth checking to make certain if there's a utility/driving force/firmware replace at Sony which will handle this - you in no way understand. in any different case i think of your ultimate guess is to get a HC SD nicely suited card reader (they are low-cost and could paintings with frequent SD enjoying cards additionally). wish this helps.
