Pinesol will work just fine or lysol or lyso wipes. don't use anything with amonia or he will start peeing there b/c of the smell.
Good Luck!

bleach is safer than many of the products people reccommended.
1 part bleach to 10 parts water is enough to disenfect. Just keep the dog out of the kitchen until the floor is dry.. bleach evaporates as it dries and does not leave a residue, unlike other cleaners/chemicals
Vinegar is also a wonderful cleaner! And is completely safe. It also disinfects. I have worked at several MRDD facilites and vinegar water was often used for a disenfectant because it is safe to use around the residents.

Ah, I have been in this situation before, I sympathize ;).
While you can use bleach, it must be cleaned up afterwards completely. Bleach can make a dog sick if he licks where it was on the floor, and it can irritate or even burn their paws if they step in it. I'd try clorox disinfecting wipes, or clean it up with a swiffer wetjet. Swiffer has been tested safe around animals, heck, my puppy has gotten accidently sprayed with the liquid before when 'attacking' the mop, and he didn't have so much as a runny nose afterwards. I have never had a problem with either of those products, and i'd highly suggest them.
I hope this helps!

Do not use bleach - it may harm not only the dog but your floor. I recommend Ken'l Lan which is a disinfectant and deordorant designed to clean veterinary areas. My vet uses this product to clean up messes and I use it too.

okay first of all pick up the poor and flush it down the toilet and scrub the stain with a mob or paper towel. Afterwards use bleach or other chemicals to clean the floor and bleach wont harm the dog just keep it away from there until the floor is dry or maybe the next day.

Just use a disinfectant like Lysol. It works on the floor when you have small children crawling around on it. Just be sure that you dilute it to a safe level.

I use bleach...it wont' harm the dog as long as the bleach is diluted with water and the dog isn't allowed to walk on the floor until it's dry.

any domestic cleaners are fine and will do the job, just bear in mind that if you use products that contain amonia it smells similar to cat urine n if u have a cat it will start peeing there.
just wash the floor with what you would normally use, make it very hot water though. im a vet nurse.
