I have only been here for a day or two and have already been annoyed to the point that I have to say something. A lot of people on here ask questions about what will happen to them after they have been arrested or charged with a crime. Instead of lecturing people about the evils of DUI, battering people, etc. why not just answer their question and say, "you will most likely get probation/10 years/life" or whatever the case may be instead of getting up on your high horse and acting as though you live like Jesus. You don't. I understand many people here are law enforcement officers and I understand that it may irritate you that people are asking stupid questions or looking for loopholes (which their lawyer will do anyway). If you don't like the question, move on. It is not helpful to anyone when you answer a question with "you got caught, deal with it. Go to AA and stop crying." People just want to know what will happen or if they can take any action, sorry they aren'tas smart as u

Another example that I just read. A woman said she thought she had a police tail and that she and her husband were 100% legit. She got reamed and accused of breaking the law. She admitted to having a checkered past, why would she ask the question and lie? Same thing happened to me on the 1st question I asked. An officer illegally searched me and detained me in his car. Somebody answered that honest people don't get put in police cars. I am honest, never been arrested, etc. Why would I lie and why would you make that judgement? ***.

OK I'll rephrase. Why not just say, you have/do not have a case. You can get 5-10, 10-50, life, etc. instead of telling people not to drink and drive or whatever. They know they shouldn't have done that, that's why they are looking at jail time. Read the part above this. Why must you make judgements about people you have never and will never meet based on a question. I was accused of being dishonest and this other lady was accused of being up to something. A lot of people on here thinking they are perfect. Just irritating, that's all.

I might certainly not get into the groove of Everybody Loves Raymond. I consistently felt it used to be a little overestimated. Raymond used to be a whiner and a complainer, natural and sensible. But the exhibit did have an excessively gifted solid. I move with Everybody Hates Chris on the grounds that I do experience Chris Rock's narratives within the exhibit and his arms on process has made probably the most positive software the UPN community ever had.

First of all, most of us don't 'live like Jesus'. We don't even WANT to. Jesus had no inclination to go into law enforcement.
Usually people can't just say "you will most like get probation/10 years/life" etc because they DONT SAY WHAT STATE THEY ARE IN and every state varies, some quite a bit. Some things that will get you a ticket in some states will get you hard labor for 20 in Lousiana, and vice versa.
And........if someone telling them how they could have prevented the whole thing prevents even one person from doing it again, what's the issue?

Yes, we are 100% legit. Yes, we each have a past. Read my question carefully before you publicly complain about it.
You're too short-tempered; some people on here answer questions and some vent. Just learn to filter out the insignificant ones and concentrate on the ones that interest you if it bothers you that much.

It's human nature. In today's society alot of people who get caught doing something wrong are ALWAYS looking for a loophole through something.
you come into a place where a majority of participants are officers of the law or on their way to becoming one. what do you really expect?
if you've never ever done anything in your entire life like what you're telling us we're doing, go ahead and rant and rave, but odds are you have so you're welcome to not participate in this particular forum if you're not comfortable with the way the people here handle the answers they give.

Ahhhh!!!! The benefits of anonymity. Scott, if these people who ask such questions want to know what will happen to them, they should be talking with their lawyer. You can't "see" or "feel" the entire situation here. So the answers come varied. That is just the way it is.

So what's the question? Kind of ironic to be lectured on being lectured. And you didn't even ask a question. Or answer one. Annoying is an answer to a question nobody asked.

YOU CANNOT TELL THEM WHAT WILL HAPPEN BECAUSE THAT IS UP TO AN ATTORNEY, JUDGE, PPO ETC AND THE SYSTEM--
BERETTA THE SHOW ALWAYS SAID"IF YA CAN'T DO THE TIME DON'T DO THE CRIME"
I KNOW PEOPLE ARE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE LAW AND SHOULD BE LOOKING THINGS UP THEMSELVES-BUT IF THEY COULD DO THAT THEY WOULD NOT ASK THE QUESTION?
